As Special Forces Veterans, we understand how it feels to have lost your sense of purpose. We get that the transition is very isolating and you’re doing all you can to keep your head above water — both financially and with your mental health. We know that this causes marriages and families to struggle.
Nobody who served should have to experience financial instability and disorientation during transition. Like you, we’re frustrated by the lack of support and the feeling that nobody in society really gets it.
We’re going to change that.
We believe that giving SOCOM veterans access to high-level training, expert & community mentors (who will help the entire way), the financial means, and a tribe of other successful veterans we can put a stop to the detrimental cascade that so many veterans suffer from — loss of purpose, financial struggles, strain on families, and poor mental health.

Which is why The Garrison foundation is about more than a motivational seminar, a pat on the back, or handing out free lap tops. We’ve partnered with top-tier businesses & firms in a variety of industries, who not only will provide mentorship and training, but are also there to ensure each small business acquired by our SOCOM veterans are quality business to keep this cycle going.

Having personally overcome difficult transition challenges through business ownership, JR intimately understands the veteran journey and now dedicates himself to helping others find the same path to success and stability.

Former SEAL Team 3 operator Caleb Foreman brings valuable perspective from both military leadership and post-MBA executive experience in the corporate world. Through conversations with hundreds of struggling veterans, Caleb identified critical gaps in transition support. This insight, combined with his personal journey, inspired him to co-create the GARRISON Foundation with former platoon mate JR to provide veterans lasting solutions rather than temporary fixes.
