Business Plan Help For U.S. Special Forces Veterans
As special forces veterans, we know the weight you carry.
That deep feeling of disconnection, wondering where you fit in now that the uniform’s off. We see how hard you’re working to maintain stability – juggling bills, relationships, and those darker thoughts that creep in when things get tough. We’ve watched too many military families stretched to their breaking point.
Every service member deserves a clear path forward after hanging up their uniform. It pains us to see how many veterans feel adrift in a society that doesn’t fully grasp their experience.
That’s exactly why we’re taking action.
By combining transformative professional development, dedicated one-on-one guidance from those who’ve walked this path, financial support so you can take action, and a powerful network of veterans who’ve successfully made the transition, we can break the painful cycle so many of us face – loss of purpose, financial struggles, strain on families, and poor mental health.
Stand tall again with renewed purpose, unstoppable momentum, and the security you deserve. With our transformative business plan help, you’ll not only thrive, you’ll be equipped to reach back and guide others through their own transition.
Transform from the warrior seeking direction into the beacon of hope others need.

How The Process Works
YOU WON'T HAVE TO GO IT ALONE.
You'll have The Garrison.

Most SOCOM veterans transition out not knowing business ownership is even on the table — let alone that there's a path designed for exactly the skills they already have. The Ultimate Business Acquisition Playbook changes that. Inside, you'll learn how ETA's work, what capital is required, and how the full journey unfolds from finding a business to acquiring, growing, and selling it. By the end, you won't just understand the path — you'll know which one is yours.

Inside our program you will gain 24/7 online access to The Garrison (our online community of fellow veterans and community mentors).
With the training and coaching, you'll understand how to put capital together and find a business worth acquiring. You'll have access to mentors and fellow SOCOM veterans to support you.

With your access, you'll begin diving into the Playbook with One-on-one help, access the coaching resources, and seminar workshops schedule.

Track 2 cohorts give you advanced expert guidance at every stage of business ownership — from helping ensure the business is a good investment to loan acquisition, deal making, business growth, and beyond.

Who is eligible to apply for GARRISON Foundation programs?
Special Forces Veterans are eligible to apply if they have received an honorable discharge and have served a minimum of three consecutive years.
What qualities do you look for in candidates?
GARRISON Foundation Members and Fellows are high-achieving SOCOM veterans who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, accountability, and follow-through within elite military communities. We select candidates based solely on merit, integrity, and proven ability to perform at a high level.
Are there any out-of-pocket costs for the GARRISON Foundation programs?
There are no out-of-pocket costs for veterans for any of the GARRISON Foundation programs.
All of the GARRISON Foundation programs are fully funded through the generosity of our individual, family office, and corporate donors.
How do I apply for the GARRISON Foundation Track 1?
Simply apply for Track 1 via our website. There’s no rigorous application. No prior experience required. If you’re Special Forces, served honorably for at least three consecutive years, you’re eligible. Track 1 is intentionally broad and inclusive — built for SOCOM veterans who are still exploring, not just those who’ve already decided. If you’re anywhere on that spectrum, this is the right place to start.
How do I access the GARRISON Foundation Community Portal?
To access the GARRISON Foundation Community Portal, you must first apply for Track 1 via our website. Once your eligibility has been confirmed, you’ll receive an onboarding email with detailed instructions. The portal provides access to any online trainings, discussion groups, the member directory, webinars, and a resource library.
How do I apply to join a GARRISON Foundation cohort (Track 2)?
To apply to become a GARRISON Foundation Fellow, SOCOM veterans must be active members of The Garrison (aka The Garrison Foundation’s community) in good standing and must have successfully completed the online course and skill assessment (which is the workbook section in The Ultimate Business Acquisition Playbook).
Application is available through the Community Portal and are reviewed on a rolling basis.
What does the application process involve?
Application Process For Track 1 – Online Course & Training Program:

What role does the workbook section play in the Track 2 selection process?
THE ROLE OF THE WORKBOOK IN PROGRAM SELECTION
The workbook in Section 4 of The Ultimate Business Acquisition Playbook is a critical part of the journey.
The insights generated through:
- Skills assessment
- Risk tolerance evaluation
- Resource audit
- Mission alignment
- Pathway comparison
Provide the foundation for the Advanced Mentorship Program application. These inputs allow The Garrison Foundation to:
- Understand each veteran’s goals and constraints
- Assess readiness and alignment
- Match veterans with appropriate mentors
- Allocate resources effectively
The workbook is not a test — it is a signal of preparation and intent.
